Watsan natural water Purifiers are built using state-of the art nano-technology filter medium derived out of natural siliceous and earthern ingredients and is licensed by IMMT (CSIR – Council of Science and Industrial Research) Institute  with the trademark name Terafil (TM, C) and is approved by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) India.

The containers into which the filter medium is fitted are made up of stainless steel.

Arsenic Removal Purifier Add-Ons:

• The Arsenic absorbent developed by Nano-technology “AMRIT” Team of Prof. T.Pradeep of IIT Madras is exclusively used for arsenic removal.
• Minimum 3 cartridges are attached below each Terafil Candles so as to remove arsenic which are very prevelant in regions
• Size of the cartridges: 5” x 1.5” with 2 stop check-mesh, one lid
• Weight of the cartridges: 100 grams each (Total 300 numbers)
• The expected life of Arsenic removal depending on the level of arsenic in any specific region: 1 to 3 years

Fluoride removal Purifier Add-Ons:

The add-on white container is made of Food Grade High Denisty Polyethylene

• Size: 12” diameter x 14” height.
• It has 12 perforated Plastic cylinders with lids on either side, packed with lime stone pebbles doped and coated with our proprietary Fluorosorb (nano-material to break and remove fluoride ions) developed in association with PSG College of Science & Technology, Coimbatore.
• In regions with high fluoride content in water is present in water, these add-on white container with 12 perforated cartridges containing fluorosorb TM,R a proprietary material developed by Watsan acts as a fluoride remover, bringing it down to 0.7 mg/ltr much lower than the permissible standard of 1.5 mg/litre.
• Method of usage: This fluoride remover container along with the 12 perforated cartridges has to be used along with Terafil Standalone filter.
• The fluoride afflected input water should be poured into the white bucket making sure the 12 cartridges inside are fullu soaked and water is upto the brim of the whote container. After soaking overnight (or minimum of 8 to 12 hours) the fluoride in the water is broken and seperated. The fluoride free water then, should be poured into our standalone water purifier in which other contaminants like pathogens, heavy metals and turbiditiy are removed and the water brought down to potable level.
• This does not have heavy pungent alumina smell like other fluoride removers.
• Added advantage of nano-dosage of calcium entering along with potable water in your body, to gain back the depleted strength of the affected persons’ bone and teeth.
